We have had fools ruling Nigeria since 2015 Rotimi Amaechi appear to be a bigger one mortgaging the future of our children with debts on these worthless projects

After all, most or majority of them will open their rotten mouth to condemn and attack Baba OBJ. What audacity do they have to put us all in perpetual slavery while at the same time stealing and storing the stolen wealth from the common people for their unborn generation,to keep saying rubish ?. I once asked if Amechi family and others from this present government are going to pay half of the debt/loan being taken now back before they go their graves respectively?. No one really values or appreciates the greats effort Baba OBJ did when he strives to pay back our external debts and leaves zero debt balance as well left behinds more money in our treasure. All they could do now is to burrow, burrow and burrow till no one could hardly do any better things or useful for their respective families .
Can you imagine these people especially fulanis manipulating everything to take over other regions assets directly or indirectly through lots of manipulation in every spheres of life. They could hardly tell us what manner of projects have been so far executed with all the money burrowed so far. Till date,no stable electricity supplies,no good road, lack of good infrastructures for the benefits of common suffering mases. All we witness daily is nothing but propaganda, manipulation, lies and others. Isn't better to go our different ways to be able to make judicious use of endowed resources in differents regions for the better developments and benefits of denied but poor masses. Time is now to say no to these corrupts politicians who stops at nothing to put us once again in slavery. Heaven and Earth knows their days are numbered ,and soon they would surely reaps the bad fruits been sow now.God is waiting at the border for proper check up.....
We have had fools ruling Nigeria since 2015... What guarantees development is systems working hand in hand .... not singular projects like this idiot called Amaechi is talking about...
Okay you are building rail for what? Just transportation of people? What is the plan to use it to transport goods and services? What is the plan to use it to transport mail? What is the plan to use it to transport livestock (to quell the issues of herdsmen) by banning nomadic movements.....
Who are you building the rail for? Do the people have the propensity to pay for these services(the reason why governments build these infrastructure in the first place is to generate revenue first and/or make things easy for their people if they are a rich country with lots to spare like America or as it is done in Europe)? Look at the Kaduna - Abuja rail line built by Jonathan as a pilot project....I understand that this was a pilot project to generate a buzz of bringing the rails back but lets be realistic here....... how much has been generated by that service since inception? Have there been profits from that service or has the government had to add it as an extra expenditure with subsidies given to the operators?
At the end of the day most of these rail projects in the North of Nigeria will become Essential services as it is called in America or Public Service Obligations as they call them in Europe..........with government paying rail operators to maintain their operations as ticket sales will not be enough to guarantee their survival due to the lack of the propensity to pay for these services by the locals......, rather than these rail operators operating profitably....
These loans will end up being a subsidy expenditure. Look at the Kaduna- Abuja example ....I dare this government to open the books of that service since its inception and let us see the financial statement. How much has it made and how much it has added to oil revenue to boost the nations revenue profile.... The fact is that it has been operating at a loss and government has been paying subsidies to the operators to continue the service just to save face......which is why last week Nasir El Ruffian was on the news talking of backing the increasing of rates and changing the system of ticket dispensation.... because that project is a drain and is being financed yet also by oil money... and there wasnt enough planning that went into that project.
I can remember sometime in February reading a shameless statement from Amaechi talking about why the government has to pay subsidies for rail transport fares in the North..... What a USELESS COUNTRY THAT KEEPS PUTTING UNDUE PRESSURE ON OIL.
If you are building these infrastructure for a section of the country (North) only to turn them into subsidy expenditures -then why are you financing them with loans that the whole country has to pay back?
These are wasteful projects which are consuming resources. The Buhari failed alamajiri system of Government has been paying these operators to save face because they have been operating at a loss.....WHERE IS THE ECONOMIC SENSE IN FINANCING NEW RAIL LINES WITH CHINA LOANS......Oh I forgot, the oil revenue is a national cake to be squandered, not a revenue means that should be helping us raise other streams of revenue..
If we want to build infrastructure, then build infrastructure properly ....and stop building these resource draining waste projects.....in areas where they will give us more loss.. If the EU is running a Public Service Obligation and the US is running Essential services backed up by subsidy ....Nigeria is not ready for that kind of system.....
The reason why we have very good transport systems in Europe is because the EU is serious with its obligations..There are multiple needs for transport...one of these is being the backbone for businesses to move goods around.......the effect of this can be seen in the modes of transport in Europe. Air is active, Rail is very active, Intra city tram systems are very active, water transport is very active, as for road...well you cant beat the road system....In Europe today we road is so organised that tiles are being used to construct roads now in preparation for the next trend that will soon take off....
Look at the system of routes, what economic routes are included in these? Aba, Onitsha, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano should have been given priority for construction ....not Kaduna
One only needs to go and find out what is happening with the Kaduna- Abuja rail line ...lets dare the government to post the financials of that project for all to see what is really happening... They will never do that.
I am a transport professional in Europe and it is sad to see people like Amaechi mortgage the future of our children with their ill prepared plan which will only make slaves of our young, who will be neck deep in paying debts with little to use to implement future technological solutions to problems...while those like Amaechi will be retired and chilling in their mansions in UK.
In 20 yrs time while we are still paying for rail in Nigeria, there will be driver-less and flying cars in Europe ... then we will ask ourselves...what was the use of mortgaging the future of our children with debts on these worthless projects?
